AMCon designs, develops, implements, and supports 'End-to-End' electronic publishing systems and is a world leader in Data Migration Science: the development of processes, specifications and computer-assist tools designed to leverage the equity contained in legacy documentation.
AMCon provides service offerings in the following areas:
Requirements analysis, specification development, and process design;
Migration of legacy content to full and functional conformance with commercial and military Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and eXtensible Markup Language (XML) structured document standards. In performing the migration of legacy content, AMCon uses a proprietary toolset and process (the Ammigration Process) that insures that high-quality deliverables are produced in an effective and efficient manner. The toolset and process contain workflow systems and tools to ensure process adherence, protocol compliance, quality assurance and auditable workflow metrics. The AMCon toolset and process are made available to the General Services Administration (GSA) and all Federal Government sponsoring agencies at no additional cost when legacy migration projects are performed under the auspices of the AMCon GSA Schedule;
Publication of structured documents in multiple media formats (ranging from hardcopy to dynamically generated Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs));
Design and development and/or integration of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) structured document authoring and content management solutions;
Installation, implementation and on-going support for Common Source Database (CSDB) structured document repositories that enable effective content management and life-cycle sustainment;
Installation, implementation and on-going support for Workflow Management systems and tools that optimize the accuracy and efficiency of publishing environments by facilitating process adherence, protocol compliance, quality assurance and auditable workflow metrics and
Development and deployment of Interactive Learning Environments (ILEs) and eLearning solutions that provide embedded training and orientation to system usage paradigms.
